Outline of Annual Research Achievements

チームフローのダイナミクスを理解するために、チームフローの神経相関に基づいて、リアルタイム神経評価システムの構築を行った。そのため、 ウェアラブルEEGシステムの構築を行なった。特に、スポーツ、音楽制作などの活動中のフロー状態をモニタ出来るようにすること、またコンパクトなEEGシステムにより多くの環境に適応できるようにすることが目的である。その結果、
(1)リアルタイムハイパースキャン脳波解析システムを構築した
(2) 個人差アンケート取得や反応時間などの心理物理学的ツール、脳波などの生理学的ツールなどにより収集したデータを用いることで、潜在的な3D-intra-EEG空間を生成することに成功した
(3)生成した潜在的3D-intra-EEG空間に基づいて「チームフロー」行動を予測することができた
(４) 電磁筋刺激(EMAS)の対人版を開発し、様々な対人インタラクションに対応するための拡張を行なっている。

Reason

脳波データに対する主成分分析と線形判別分析という2段階の次元削減技術を利用して、チームフロータスク中の脳波データから潜在的特徴を抽出するパイプラインを構築した。その結果、解釈可能な3次元の脳波潜在空間が得られた。階層的なマクロセグレゲーションとミクロセグレゲーションがあり、それぞれ神経特性や神経状態を捉えている。表現類似性分析を用いて、脳波潜在空間を技能認知空間にマッピングし、神経データと行動データの結びつきを確立することができた。特にここで重要なことは、脳波潜在空間が脳間同期のレベルを予測したこと、また、脳内同期のレベルを予測することができた点である。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

残された課題は分析に使用したデータのサンプルサイズが小さいことである。今回のデータセットでは15人の参加者と10組のペアのみで、脳波潜在空間におけるこれらの個人の高い分離可能性を達成することができた。しかし、このモデルや知見が、より多くの参加者や様々な自然主義的タスクに対して頑健で適用可能かどうかは、さらなる検討が必要である。また、より包括的なペアリング実験デザイン、例えば、15人の参加者が105組のペアを作ることができれば、異なる相互作用文脈下における個人の状態について、よりきめ細かいモデルを検証することができるようになるものと考えている。
