Research Abstract

シアナミド(R_2N-CN)のN-CN結合は通常のN-C結合に比べて強く,切断が困難である。現在までにこの結合を切断するには強酸または強塩基によるvon Braun反応が知られているのみである。そこで遷移金属錯体を用いた温和な条件下でN-CN結合が切断できれば,そのインパクトは大きい。本研究では,近年我々が見出しだ鉄シリル錯体が有機ニトリルのC-CN結合を切断する反応機構を参考にして,遷移金属錯体がシアナミドのN-CN結合切断の可能性を追求した。
鉄シリル錯体に種々のシアナミド(R_2NCN:R_2=(H)_2,(CH_3)_2,(CH_2)_5,(CH_2)_2O(CH_2)_2,(CH_2)_4,(C_6H_<11>)_2)を反応させたところ,いずれの場合もN-CN結合の切断が8〜51%の割合で起こることが分かった。ルイス酸を共存させてシアナミドと付加体を形成後に反応させたが,収率の向上は認められず,電子的促進効果より立体障害の方が影響したと考えられる。次に遷移金属錯体の検討を行い,鉄メチル錯体およびモリブデンメチル錯体を出発錯体とした場合も,ヒドロシランを共存させればシアナミドのN-CN結合切断反応が起こることが分かった。これらの反応は金属錯体を用いてN-CN結合を切断した最初の例である。さらにモリブデンメチル錯体を用いた場合には触媒的に切断反応が進行することも明らかにした。反応機構の検討も行い,鉄錯体を用いた場合には中間体を思われる錯体の生成が示唆され,またモリブデンメチル錯体による触媒反応では,提案した機構で生成することになるアミンの確認も行うことができた。
