| Research Abstract |
連続体理論に基づく数値計算によって,液晶のコレステリックブルー相の電場による液晶配向と位相欠陥の応答,および単位格子の変形に関する知見を得た.また表面の凹凸に由来する液晶アンカリングについて,数値計算によるアンカリングエネルギーの評価,および解析的理論の結果との比較を行なった.さらにキラルスメクチック液晶相の分子シミュレーションにより,スメクチックQ相の3次元秩序構造の構造安定化要因となっている分子間相互作用の一端を明らかにした.
