Research Abstract

プラス鎖RNAウイルスの一種であるトマトモザイクウイルス(ToMV)のRNA 複製複合体前駆体を、脱液胞化植物プロトプラスト抽出液を用いた試験管内反応により形成させた。当該複合体の構成要素であるウイルス複製タンパク質に付したタグを利用して精製し、共精製された 宿主タンパク質を6種類同定した。対応する宿主遺伝子がノックアウトされたシロイヌナズナを構築し、ToMVの増殖を調べたが、いずれにおいても野生株と同様に増殖した。現在までのところ、これらの宿主タンパク質がToMV RNAの複製に関与することを積極的に示唆する結果は得られていない。
