Research Abstract

栽培イネは大きくジャポニカ種とインディカ種に分けられる。いわゆる日印の交雑では、F1個体が大きく出穂遅延を起こすことがあり、生殖隔離の一因になることが示唆されている。本研究課題では、そういったF1個体が明確な遅延を示す組み合わせである日本晴(ジャポニカ種)と南京11号(インディカ種)の交配後代を使い、遺伝子レベルでのメカニズムの解明を目指し、在来種の解析により、イネの栽培化におけるこの現象の役割を推定した。
