Research Abstract

本研究ではすばる望遠鏡用のコロナグラフィック究極補償光学系(SCExAO)の開発を行った。すべての鍵となるコンポーネントの製作を行い、実験室において可視光で全体として性能試験を行い、目的の性能が達成されていることを確認した。これはすばる望遠鏡用の新補償光学系AO188と太陽系外惑星検出用のコロナグラフカメラHiCIAOに取り付けるものであり、そのための取り付け治具の製作を別途すすめ、2010年に望遠鏡に取り付けての観測を予定している。
