Research Abstract

コンピュータネットワークは我々を取り巻く情報の相互伝達のバックボーンとして重大な機能を果たしている。インターネットをはじめとするとする爆発的に増大化した物理層(IP層)のふくそう(トラヒック)制御問題を解消するためには、1)多重保障性(耐障害性)、2)ネットワーク全体のloadバランシング、3)分散化および階層化制御の確立は最重要課題であり、社会的ニーズである。従来より、3)の具体的機構として様々なQoSオーバーレイ経路選択アルゴリズムが提案されてきたが、本研究で提案した生体内制御機構(細胞内酵素反応フィードバック制御機構)に基づくルーティングアルゴリズムをQoSオーバーレイ経路選択アルゴリズムに部分的にカプセル化することにより、上記の、1)および2)の要件を確立できる可能性が極めて高いことが明らかになった。
