Research Abstract |
We found that prefrontal neurons are involved in integrating sensory information of multiple modalities to transform into numerical information required to regulate future actions. We also found that prefrontal neurons play a role in categorizing patterns of future actions. Furthermore, we found an activity focus in the medial prefrontal cortex while human subjects were engaged in identifying a behavioral rule out of multiple candidates.
