Research Abstract

促進老化のモデルとして利用されているSAMP1,SAMP6,SAMR1系マウスが異物排出ポンプとして機能するAbcb1a遺伝子に機能喪失型自然突然変異を有することを明らかとした。これらのSAM系マウスが大腸炎発症特性、デキストラン硫酸塩誘発大腸炎に対して異なる感受性をもつことを明らかとした。さらに遺伝解析により、SAM系マウスはAbcb1a遺伝子の遺伝的変異に起因する潰瘍性大腸炎の発症を抑制する遺伝子群を有することを明らかとした。以上、ヒトの潰瘍性大腸炎の治療あるいは予防法確立のための有用性の高いデータの獲得ができた。
