Research Abstract

Scrub Nurse Robot(SNR)の新機能である器具先端部自動挿入機能を考案し、この実現のためにアーム型ロボットであるSNR3号機を開発し、その有効性を実証した。SNRの"眼"ともいうべき視覚認識システムや、現在手術野で使用されている手術器具情報(器具名、使用開始および終了時刻)をリアルタイムかつ自動で取得できるシステムも開発した。また、外科手術モデルの拡充も行い、臨床応用に着実に近づける成果を挙げた。
