Research Abstract

日本伝統野菜・帰化植物・生薬等計21種の植物から香気物質(精油)を得、精油構成成分及び香気特性を解明した。AChE阻害活性については、モミジガサ及びヨブスマソウの精油が強い阻害活性を示した。β-セクレターゼ(BACE1)阻害活性については、数種の精油において阻害活性を有することを見出し、精油香気物質や生物変換生成物の一部にも有効な活性を有する物質があることを明らかにした。本研究成果から、認知機能賦活の生化学的要因に植物香気物質が有効である可能性を示唆した。
