Research Abstract |
大気沈着窒素の負荷により生ずる森林の窒素過剰化に伴い、ヒノキの葉の窒素安定同位体比(δ^(15)N)が顕著に低下すること、さらに、それが生ずる土壌・植物間の機構を解明した。一方、高標高域における大気沈着由来の窒素は特異に低い同位体シグナルを持つことが明らかになった。地衣類、植物ならびにニホンザルの体毛のδ^(15)Nも低標高域に比較し有意に低下しており、大気沈着窒素が高標高生態系に重大な物質的インパクト加えている実態が明らかになった。
