Research Abstract

ディーゼルエンジン排ガス処理において、微粒子(PM)処理は従来の電気集塵装置(ESP)では電気抵抗が低いため再飛散現象により捕集が困難であった。我々は、イオン風を利用し、電界ゼロ(誘導荷電によるPM反発力をゼロ)領域に効果的にPMを誘導する新しいESP(EHD ESP)を開発した。NOx処理では吸着材により長時間NOxを吸着させ、窒素カスを用いて熱脱離させ、高濃度・低容量NOx(>2,500ppm)に変換、沿面放電プラズマにてほぼ100%還元できることを実証した。これらの2つの要素技術を結合させディーゼルPM・NOx高効率処理システムを確立した。
