Research Abstract |
The physical properties characteristic to host-gust materials (Ba_8Si_46,SiH_4+2H_2,Ice VII,C_60 polymer) were revealed. New crystal structures of SnH_4,GeH_4,CH_4under high pressure were predicted and implications were discussed. Simulation techniques such as O(N) quantum molecular dynamics and GPGPU (General-purpose computing on graphics processing units) were developed and applied to these problems.
