| Research Abstract |
We investigate the ethical thought as a background for the Japanese entrepreneurs from Meiji era to today as follows : Shibusawa Eiichi, Magosaburo Ohara, Sanji Muto, Tsurukichi Hatano, Inamori Kazuo(Kyocera), Toshiro Nakamura(Nakamura Brace), Kentaro Oyama(Iris Ohyama), Masao Ogura(Yamato transport co., Ltd), Yasuo Oyama(Nihon rikagaku Industry co., Ltd). It has particular characteristics beyond so to say the synthesis of traditional ethics such as Confucianism, Shinto, and Buddhism.
