| Research Abstract |
言語政策とは、言語の外部から影響力を行使することで、特定の言語状態を実現させようとする政治的行為である。その目的のうちには、対象となる言語や言語集団のアイデンティティを維持・強化することがある。とくに国民国家において、言語政策は「国民」のアイデンティティ形成と密接に関係している。本研究では、様々な言語政策の事例を比較検討することによって、言語政策が言語や国民の同一性をめぐるアイデンティティ政治といかに関係するかを明らかにした。
