Research Abstract

人間の社会関係上の支援を重要な課題とする社会福祉にとって重要な課題である高齢期の社会的孤立の実状とそのライフコース上の要因の解明を研究目的とした。厳密な操作的基準に基づき大都市における高齢者の社会的孤立の発現率の推計とその基本的特徴を明らかにしたこと、また高齢期の社会的孤立のライフコース上の要因に関しては、「ライフコースを通じての不利の累積仮説」が長期孤立に関しては追認できたが、高齢期になってからの短期孤立については支持されないことが検証された。
