Research Abstract

大気圧非平衡プラズマ流による生体反応機能性を発現するラジカルの生成輸送機構を解明した. 放電部下流域の極微弱発光領域の分析により, 生成したアルゴン励起原子が空気との反応を通し窒素励起分子やラジカルとして生体に輸送されることや, 照射した水中に生体の活性度を低下させる寿命の長い活性種が生成されることを明らかにした.また, OH及び酸素ラジカルに滅菌作用があることを特定し, OHラジカルの生成が電子衝突に依存することを数値解析により明らかにした.
