Research Abstract

医療における触診や鋏・メスなどの道具を操作する手技は、熟練を要する。手技の学習では、見様見真似が伝統的手法であるが、訓練者には難しい。この問題の解決に向けて、バーチャルリアリティ環境に生体モデルを構築した手技の学習システムの研究があるが、これまで5本の指を対象とした研究は皆無である。こうした背景をもとに、多指ハプティックインターフェイスによる手技伝達に関する基礎的な研究を行ない、人間の指先での3次元的な力の知覚能力を明らかにし、人間とインターフェイスのダイナミックスを考慮した制御法、手技の伝達に効果的な手法、道具デバイスの可操作性を最適とする装着法、摩擦を考慮した触覚レンダリング法等を研究開発した。
