Research Abstract |
イネ培養細胞の細胞質内カルシウムイオン濃度変化や活性酸素種(ROS)生成のリアルタイム測定系を確立し、植物のストレス応答情報伝達ネットワークの分子機構の解明を進めた。植物病原菌由来のシグナル分子を認識し、プログラム細胞死を含む感染防御応答を誘導する初期過程では、ROS生成やMAPキナーゼの活性化に先立ち、細胞質のカルシウムイオン濃度が上昇することが明らかとなり、この過程の上流、下流での制御機構と、機能する複数の因子を同定した。
