Research Abstract

小型淡水魚ゼブラフィッシュにおいて、生殖細胞形成に働くnanos1およびtdrd7 mRNAは体細胞で小分子RNAであるmiR-430による発現抑制を受けるが、miR-430は生殖細胞にも存在している。本研究では、ゼブラフィッシュ受精卵へのレポーターmRNA微量注入実験系を用いた解析などから、生殖細胞では、RNA結合蛋白質DAZLがポリA鎖伸長化介してmiR-430によるnanos1やTDRD7 mRNAの発現抑制をキャンセルし、生殖細胞分化を押し進めていることを明らかにした
