Research Abstract |
本研究計画では、特に、高次蛋白質複合体の立体構造と特異機能との連関を基盤として、染色体複製開始の主要な分子機構を解明することを目指した。成果として、大腸菌の複製開始蛋白質DnaA による複製開始複合体の高次構造を推定解析し、DNA 開裂のためキーとなる複製開始複合体の機能構造を同定した。および、DNA 開裂のメカニズムを開始複合体の機能構造と連関させて解明した。さらに、DNA 開裂後におこる、DnaB ヘリカーゼ装着開始機構を解明した。
