Research Abstract |
「器官再生を可能としている分子メカニズムの包括的理解」の研究目的のもと、両生類におけるトランスジェニック技術の再生研究への応用基盤形成を中心に多角的な解析を行った。結果、Prx1エンハンサーを用いたトランスジェニックXenopusの作成により再生幹細胞の可視化に成功しこの形成にMAPK・PI3K経路が必須であることを発見した。また四肢再生過程におけるshh発現にDNAメチル化を含めたエピジェネティックな制御が重要であることを見出した。
