Research Abstract |
種々の植物が有する自家不和合性は、自家受精を抑制し後代子孫の内婚弱勢を回避するのに寄与している遺伝的な性質である。本研究では、ヒルガオ科の自家不和合性に関与する遺伝子を明らかにしその分子機構を解明することを目的として、サツマイモ野生種のゲノム解析と遺伝子発現解析を行った。その結果、ヒルガオ科の自家不和合性に関与する雌蕊側と花粉側の各S遺伝子候補が同定され、新たな自他認識機構の関与が示唆された。
