Research Abstract

トマト果実を試料として、植物の呼吸速度を、近赤外光を利用して非破壊かつ迅速に判定する手法を明らかにした。判定するための数式は、ニューラルネットワークと呼ばれる、人工知能の一種を利用して作成した。呼吸速度の大小は、収穫後植物の栄養分の消耗速度に影響を及ぼすことから、本研究成果は、植物の品質保持期間の予測に有効な技術として利用可能であると期待される。
