Research Abstract

本研究において、卵の生理機構のより深遠な理解を目標とし、家畜卵のプロテオーム制御因子、およびタンパク質機能修飾を司るキナーゼを中心に、家畜卵の細胞分裂制御機構の解析を行った結果、プロテオーム制御因子として、ヒストンアセチル化制御因子とその制御機構、タンパク質翻訳に関与するmRNAの3'-UTRの構造、CPEB、Aurora Aの機能、タンパク質分解に関与するAPC活性化因子のFZR1,Cdc20の機能、細胞分裂制御の中心となるMPF活性を制御するキナーゼとして主としてWee1B,CAKの機能を明らかにすることができた。これらの成果は畜産学を始めとする多くの分野に多大な貢献をしている動物バイオテクノロジーの技術効率を格段に高め、更に発展させる原動力になるものと期待される。
