Research Abstract |
Staphylococciのゲノム配列情報を解析し、ヒト食中毒原因毒素であるエンテロトキシン(SEs)遺伝子群を保有する可動性遺伝因子を検出・分類するLA-PCR/RFLP法を確立した。霊長類モデルを用いて新規なSE様毒素群SElsの嘔吐活性を解析し、何れも霊長類に対して嘔吐活性を有することを明らかにした。さらに、2種類の新型SEsについてその生物活性を詳細に解析し、SESおよびSETと命名した。
