Research Abstract |
好塩基球は末梢血白血球のわずか0.5%を占めるに過ぎない最少血球細胞であり、またマスト細胞と類似性があるために、その存在意義が疑問視されていた。私たちは本研究において、好塩基球がIgE依存性慢性アレルギー炎症ならびにIgG依存性全身性アナフィラキシーの責任細胞であることを世界に先駆けて明らかにした。本研究により、生体内において好塩基球とマスト細胞が明らかに異なる役割を果たしていることが証明された。
