Research Abstract |
IL-27の生体内投与は、宿主のTh1 反応を増強しTh2反応を抑制する結果、細胞内寄生原虫Leishmania. majorに対する生体防御機能を誘導する。一方IL-33の生体内投与は、獲得系免疫細胞の関与なしにIL-13産生を誘導し、腸管杯細胞の活性化とムチン産生を誘導する結果、腸管寄生線虫(Nippostrongylus brasiliensis)の排虫を促進する。今回の研究結果から、新規サイトカイン(IL-27, IL-33)はそれぞれ、住血鞭毛原虫や腸管寄生線虫に対する、新規抗寄生虫薬の開発に結びつくものと考えられた。
