Research Abstract

高脂肪食誘導性膵β細胞過形成の分子機構に関して、糖代謝を介したIRS-2発現上昇が膵β細胞量増加に重要であることを明らかにした。グルコキナーゼ活性化薬が膵β細胞増殖作用を有することを明らかにした。野生型メスマウスおよびグルコキナーゼヘテロ欠損メスマウス、IRS-2欠損メスマウスの非妊娠時・妊娠期の耐糖能・β細胞量を経時的に検討し、妊娠時の膵β細胞増加過程にグルコキナーゼ、IRS-2非依存性経路が存在することを見出した。
