| Research Abstract |
(1)遺伝性対側性色素異常症の病因となる10の新規ADAR1変異遺伝子を同定した。
(2)皮膚の色素異常しか知られていなかったにもかかわらず、G1007Rの変異遺伝子を持つDSH患者においては、脳の石灰化と神経症状を呈することが明らかになった。
(3)ヒトのDSHと同様にADAR1遺伝子変異をヘテロに保持したノックアウトマウス(ADAR1+/-)を作成した。
