| Research Abstract |
HERVに関与する塩基配列からY染色体にTTYfamilyに注目した。TTY9, TTY10, TTY13の3種を検索でき、これらの転写物が精子形成に関与しているかを検討した。TTY13は相同性再組み換えが生じていることを見いだし、この再組換えは組織型が悪くなるにつれて、増加することを明らかにした。本研究はY 染色体長腕上にある精子形成領域AZFb において、マイクロ染色体内相同再組換えの結果、男性不妊症を惹起していることを証明した。
