| Research Abstract |
Our project has performed two activities. First, we conducted the descriptive studies on the Omotic and Cushitic languages spoken in Ethiopia and collected basic linguistic data. Second, we made a digital map of the Ethiopian languages based on GIS (Geographic Information System) and constructed a database on the Internet, holding grammatical, lexical, sound and video data we collected in our feld surveys.
