| Research Abstract |
画像として取り込んだ手の形を分類するハードウェア指文字認識システムについて, 回路簡略化のためにアルゴリズムの改良, 回路設計, 機能シミュレーションによる動作確認を行った. さらに, 指の動きを伴うジェスチャ認識の基礎実験, 自己組織化マップ(SOM)をベースとしたハイブリッドネットワークによる認識率向上, 画像の大きさの違いによる認識率の悪化を防ぐために画像の正規化手法に関する研究を行い, それぞれ有効性を確認した.
