Research Abstract

脳の働きを脳磁図から理解するために必要となる統計的手法の確立を試み、誘発磁場なる時系列データから得られる伝達関数等の動的情報を抽出した。具体的には正中神経刺激時の脳磁図データに含まれる誘発磁場ゆらぎには特徴的な時間構造があり、そのために繰り返しピークがパワースペクトルに発生する。そこで、このピークの高調波に対応する時間構造に基づいた成分分離方法を試み、統計的逆問題として解くことで第一次体性感覚野活動部位間の対側から同側へのインパルス応答に時間遅れがあり、それが脳梁通過時間に対応していることを示した。
