Research Abstract

鶏雛(ヒヨコ)を対象として実験心理学的に統制された行動実験を実施し、動物の採餌選択における文脈依存性に関して、以下の3点の知見を得た。
1. ヒヨコはリスク感受性を示し、量のリスクを嫌う。
2. 収益逓減の強さに応じて、餌パッチからの離脱を決定している。
3. 競争採餌の条件は、異時点間選択における衝動性を亢進する。
このように、ヒヨコは採餌状況の文脈に応じて採餌決定を適応的に変化させることが判明した。
