Research Abstract

成獣終脳皮質における神経系前駆細胞の性質を組織学的手法によって解析した。正常状態では、分裂している細胞のうち、NG2陽性未分化細胞が約95%を占め、そのうち、ごく少数がオリゴデンドロサイトに分化するが、ほとんどが未分化で存在することが分かった。レトロウイルスベクターを用いてこれらの細胞に遺伝子導入を試みたが、導入効率の点などから、本研究のin vivo実験においては技術的に適さないことが分かった。
