| Research Abstract |
脳卒中後のリハビリテーションには科学的根拠に基いた効果的な方法の開発が望まれる。本研究では、脳出血のモデル動物を作成し発症後早期からトレッドミル運動を行うと、運動機能の回復が促進され運動機能に関わる脳領域で神経細胞の樹状突起の枝が複雑化することを示した。また片側前肢の使用を制限し、反対側の麻痺した手を強制的に使用する治療法があり、この場合のストレス等による神経への障害性は一過性で少ないことを示した。
