| Research Abstract |
中途視覚障害者の職業教育並びに学習支援を目的としたペン入力型ノートテイキングシステムの開発を行った。理療教育課程に在籍する中途視覚障害者が、あん摩、マッサージ指圧、はり師、きゅう師の国家資格を取得するための学習補助機器として、普段の筆記と同じ手法でコンピュータに日本語入力が可能なペン入力型のノートテイキングシステムの開発を行った。本手法は、情報機器に不慣れな初心者でも字形を覚えている中途視覚障害者であれば直接的に文字入力ができる優位性がある。理療教育課程に在籍する理教生20 名(男性17名、女性3 名、平均年齢49.6±9.1 歳)における実験の結果、今回の入力実験における平均文字認識率は93.7%であった。文書の内容理解は可能と考えられ実際の講義ノートの作成には十分対応できる見通しを得た。
