Research Abstract

筋肉は自らの栄養状態や張力を感受し適応してゆく可塑性を有しているが、筋肉内の栄養状態を変化させることによって運動や食事によるタンパク翻訳反応を増大させることができれば、より効率的かつ合理的な筋タンパク合成法を提案することが出来る。本研究では、絶食や運動によって筋肉が低エネルギー状態におかれた状況で食事を摂取するとタンパクの合成が大きくなるか否か、また、運動前に分岐鎖アミノ酸を摂取することによって運動によるタンパク合成の低下やタンパク分解の促進を抑制できるか否かについて検討した。
