Research Abstract

クルクミンが正常肝細胞株Ac2Fの抗酸化タンパク質(HO-1、SOD-1、SOD-2)のmRNA発現やそのタンパク質発現にどのように与えるかを調べた。その結果、クルクミンは、これらタンパク質のmRNAの発現やたんぱく質を調べた0から40μMの濃度で濃度依存的に上昇させることがわかった。これらの結果は、クルクミンが、活性酸素種を取り除くことにより、酸化ストレスを減少させ、肝疾患を抑制する可能性を示唆すると考えている。
