Research Abstract |
In the past few decades, there has been a wide-reaching diffusion of fast food as well as industrially processed foods in Japan. In line with this diffusion, perceptions and attitudes about food among Japanese consumers have also changed. In order to examine these changes, we set up a system to record eating habits in everyday life using functions of data communications of cell-phones. By observing eating habits of university students using this system, we examined their psychological characteristics and tried to make intervention in order to modify their eating habits.
