Research Abstract |
"Eco-compensation mechanism" means that environmental-service benefiters pay environment-preservation cost to producers. This study, with focusing on water right trading in Yellow River Basin in China, tries to make clarify the chances and challenges of the mechanism, and impacts of water re-distribution to economy and environment. We found that water right trading not only prevent drop groundwater level, but also enhance economic development.
