Research Abstract

環境汚染物質と太陽光(紫外線)の複合作用後の皮膚培養細胞中のヒストン修飾変化について検討した。その結果、環境汚染物質への光照射により、光酸化物質が産生し、それがヒストンH2AX およびヒストンH3 のリン酸化を引き起こすことを明らかにした。また、光酸化物質がアポトーシスを阻害し細胞をがん化させることを示した。ヒストンH3 のリン酸化は発がんに関与していることが報告されていることから、本成果は環境汚染物質への太陽光照射が、ヒストンの修飾変化をもたらす発がん性物質を生成しうることを示唆したものである。
