Research Abstract

Chondromodulin-Iは無血管軟骨特異的に発現し、その細胞外基質に蓄積する生理的血管新生抑制因子である。血管新生促進因子と比較して、血管新生抑制因子の血管内皮細胞に対する作用機序は、十分に解明されていない。そこで、本研究では、まず、無血清条件下にヒトChondromodulin-Iの大量発現を確立すると同時に迅速簡便精製を行い、高活性の組換え体を調製する。さらに、欠失を含む種々の変異組換えChondromodulin-Iタンパク質を発現させる事により、Chondromoduin-Iの分子特性と活性ドメインの構造を明らかにすることに成功した。
