| Research Abstract |
バクテリアに広く保存されているG タンパク質の内、リボソームの生合成に関与していることが示唆されているEra とYjeQ/RsgA に注目し、リボソーム小サブユニット(30S)によるGTPase 活性化機構の解明を試みた。超好熱菌Yj eQ の結晶構造を決定すると同時に、Yje Q-3 0S 複合体の超低温電子顕微鏡による解析行ったところ、N 末端のバレルドメインが、翻訳開始因子IF 1の結合位置とほぼ一致していた。
