Research Abstract	本研究は、沖縄周辺都市である石垣市を中心に取り上げ、その歴史性を含んだ社会変動と宗教的意識について考察したものである。具体的には、主として「豊年祭」という同地最大の祭祀の構造と変容について、さらには祭祀担当者である「ツカサ」という女性司祭者の現代的展開について着目し、八重山諸島の宗教的世界の特徴について分析した。
