| Research Abstract |
This project contains following two results. Firstly, I found that Chinese entrepreneurs had been politically marginalized since 1962, although they were active in business before the 1962 coup d'etat. This marginalization had been deeply analyzed in my book published in 2009, "Gunsei Biruma no Kenryoku Kozo". The second point is that I had collected and scanned major original documents stored in the Myanmar Chinese Library (緬甸華僑図書館) in Yangon. I will make them open to the public through internet soon. They will be useful for future research development, because few studies on Chinese society in Myanmar have been provided so far.
