Research Abstract

この研究は、地方都市をフィールドとして、主として聞き書きから、そこに住む人々の幸福への模索を描きだす試みである。ムラ社会との対比から、幸福の二類型、そなえの民俗、重要な他者、などの分析をへて、都会の時間が複数あること、空間も入れ子もように差異化されることに注目した。これに応じて生活者が臨機応変につきあい方を工夫し、ときに規範をたわめることで、さまざまな生き方の余白が生まれる。都会の幸福は、こうした多様性と自由度の仕組みにかかっている。
