Research Abstract	ポータブル型、ハンディー型の蛍光X線分析装置を中心に、他の可搬型機器も併用して、飛鳥時代の基準作である「法隆寺釈迦三尊台座(国宝)」、平安時代の代表的絵画「聖徳太子及び天台高僧像(国宝)」、鎌倉時代の代表的絵画「春日権現験記絵巻」および「春日権現験記絵披見台」、さらには江戸期の代表的絵画数点に関する彩色材料調査を実施した。日本絵画史における彩色材料の変遷を考える上で有益な情報を数多く蓄積することができた。
